【摘要】:Rockboltsareusedforsupportinavarietyofminingandcivilengineeringsituations.Thepulltestmaybeusedtoprovideaquantitativemeasureoftherelativeperformanceofdifferentanchorsystemsinthesamerocktype.Anchorsystemsmaybedifferentmechanicalanchorsordifferentbondmaterialsorlengthsforgroutedanchors.Suchdatacanbeusedtochooseananchortypeanddetermineboltlength,spacing,andsize.Theobjectiveofthemethodistomeasureanchorperformance,andnottheperformanceoftherockboltitself.Thus,toensurethattheboltresponseduringthetestisminimalandpredictable,highstrength,short-length(6to8ft(1.8to2.5m))boltshavebeenspecified.Theboltshouldbejustlongenoughtoensurethatnofailureoftherockmassoccurs.Ideally,therockboltanchorshouldfailbyshearattheanchor-rockinterfaceorbond.Therefore,thelocalcharacteristicsoftherock,suchasroughnessandinducedfractures,aresignificantfactorsintheanchorstrength.Toobtainrealisticstrengthvalues,thetestholesshouldbedrilledusingthesamemethodsastheconstructionrockboltholes.Rockswithsignificanttime-dependentbehavior,suchasrocksaltorshale,mayrespondtotheanchorsystemitselfandchangetheanchorstrength.Inthesecases,considerationshouldbegiventotestingboltsoveraperiodoftime.Inestablishingatestingprogram,thefollowingfactorsshouldbeconsidered:Anchorpulltestsshouldbeconductedinallrocktypesinwhichconstructionboltswillbeinstalled.Iftherockisanisotropic,forexample,beddedorschistose,thetestsshouldbeconductedinvariousorientationsrelativetotheanisotropy,includingthoseatwhichtheconstructionboltmaybeinstalled.Ineachrocktype,ateachorientation,andforeachanchorsystem,asufficientnumberoftestsshouldbeconductedtodeterminetheaverageboltcapacitieswithinafixeduncertaintyatthe95%confidencelevel.Theallowableuncertaintybanddependsontheprojectandinvolvessuchfactorsastherockquality,expectedprojectlifetime,andimportanceoftheareastobebolted.Itsdeterminationwillrequireconsiderableengineeringjudgment.Asaroughguideline,atleast10to12pulltestsforasinglesetofvariableshavebeenfoundnecessarytosatisfythestatisticalrequirements.Note18212;Notwithstandingthestatementsonprecisionandbiascontainedinthistestmethod;theprecisionofthistestmethodisdependentonthecompetenceofthepersonnelperformingit,andthesuitabilityoftheequipmentandfacilitiesused.AgenciesthatmeetthecriteriaofPracticeD3740aregenerallyconsideredcapableofcompetentandobjectivetesting.UsersofthistestmethodarecautionedthatcompliancewithPracticeD3740doesnotinitselfassurereliabletesting.Reliabletestingdependsonmanyfactors;PracticeD3740providesameansofevaluatingsomeofthosefactors.1.1Theobjectiveofthistestmethodistomeasuretheworkingandultimatecapacitiesofarockboltanchor.Thismethoddoesnotmeasuretheentireroofsupportsystem.Thismethodalsodoesnotincludetestsforpretensionedboltsormineroofsupportsystemevaluation.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletomechanical,cementgrout,resin,(epoxy,polyester,andthelike),orothersimilaranchorsystems.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4AllobservedandcalculatedvaluesshallconformtotheguidelinesforsignificantdigitsandroundingestablishedinPracticeD6026......
